Last updated 12 June 2026. This policy explains what data the Dragon Ball Rage moderation bot (“The Eraser”) and its ban appeal system collect, and how we use it.
The Eraser is a private moderation bot operated for the Dragon Ball Rage Discord community, together with its ban appeal system. We collect only what is needed to moderate the server, keep it safe, and process appeals. We do not sell your data, share it for advertising, or use message content to train any AI or machine-learning models. This policy describes our own data practices and does not replace Discord’s or Roblox’s policies.
When you join the Dragon Ball Rage server, the server sends you a direct message linking our Terms of Service and this Privacy Policy. By verifying with the server, you consent to the collection and use of your data as described in this Policy, which provides the legal basis we require under applicable law to process your data. You may withdraw this consent at any time (see Your choices & data requests). If you do not agree to our use of your personal data in line with this Policy, please do not verify or participate in our community.
Depending on how you interact with the server, we may collect:

When you log in to submit an appeal we use OAuth 2.0. From Discord we request the identify, guilds, and email scopes — this gives us your user ID, username and avatar, the list of servers you belong to, and your account email address. From Roblox we request openid profile — your user ID and display name. We do not access your messages, friend lists, or followers.
We do not store OAuth access or refresh tokens beyond the duration of your session. Your login session is used only to verify your identity and pre-fill the appeal form — we do not use it to take any actions on your Discord or Roblox account.
Your data is used solely to operate moderation and safety for the server and to handle appeals:
• Staff can view identifiers, moderation history, reports, ticket transcripts, and appeal content.
• Messages sent in the server may be automatically processed to detect scams, phishing, malicious links, prohibited media, or other rule violations; media posted in the server is mirrored to a private staff channel within Discord for moderator reference.
• If you provide an email when appealing, we may send a notification when your appeal is resolved.
We do not use your data for advertising, for profiling unrelated to moderation, or for any purpose beyond the above.
Moderation and appeal records are stored on a private, access-restricted server. Media posted in the server, together with removed-message and evidence archives, is mirrored to private channels within the Discord server itself for moderator reference; off-platform we keep only links to it, and only where it is tied to a moderation action. Closed ticket transcripts are saved as files within Discord.
Because the community is long-established, historical records are often needed to make fair and consistent moderation decisions long after the fact. Accordingly:
• Moderation records and appeal records may be retained indefinitely where necessary to maintain moderation history, investigate repeat offences, prevent ban evasion, and ensure consistent enforcement of community rules.
• Ticket channels are deleted after closure, and a transcript is retained as an archived file within Discord for staff reference.
• Any email address and evidence you provide are kept as part of the appeal record.
• Should the Dragon Ball Rage Discord server permanently cease operations, any data retained solely for the operation of the server will be removed when it is no longer required.
Because The Eraser is a safety tool, automatic message scanning and moderation logging cannot be turned off on a per-user basis. You may request access to your data and, where appropriate, deletion of personal data (see Contact). Certain records may be retained where necessary for moderation, safety, prevention of abuse or ban evasion, enforcement of community rules, or compliance with legal obligations. Requests to delete your data are still reviewed carefully on a case-by-case basis to ensure that records which must be kept for moderation, safety, or legal reasons are preserved, while data that no longer needs to be retained is removed.
We are committed to resolving any complaints about your personal data, you can contact us through the methods described below. We will reply to your complaint as soon as we can, and in any event within 30 days. We hope to resolve any complaint brought to our attention; however, if you feel that your complaint has not been adequately resolved, you reserve the right to contact your local data protection supervisory authority.
Your collected data is accessible only to the bot operator and a limited group of authorised Dragon Ball Rage moderation staff, and only for moderation purposes. Helpers, trial moderators, and retired staff are not permitted access to this data. Other members cannot access, view, or request your data — including your moderation history. We do not act on requests made on another person’s behalf: appeals, and requests to access or delete data, are only accepted from the account they concern, and one user cannot appeal or make a data request on behalf of another.
The appeal system uses Discord OAuth and Roblox OAuth for authentication, and Resend to deliver appeal-decision emails (it receives only the email address and message needed to send that email). By logging in you are also subject to their respective privacy policies:

Data is stored on a private, access-restricted server, and access is limited to the operator and authorised staff. We take reasonable measures to protect your data. If a data breach affects your information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.
The server and bot are intended for users who meet Discord’s minimum age requirement (13, or older where local law requires). We do not knowingly collect data from anyone younger.
